CAIRO - Egypt and Turkey are two prominent powers in the Middle East region, who play important roles in all regional issues. That's why they should have key cooperation an coordination between both countries, Prime Minister Essam Sharaf said on Saturday. Sharaf added after talks in Cairo Saturday with visiting Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu that Egypt was looking forward to a visit to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on July 21. Davutoglu said that his country was keen on having strong ties with Egypt due to its prominent role in the region. He added that he discussed with Sharaf and Foreign Minister Mohamed el-Orabi Erdogan's visit.
