CAIRO - Permanent delegates at the Arab League will meet on Tuesday to discuss ways of supporting the Palestinian issue, the official Middle East News Agency reported on Monday. "The aim of the meeting is to form an Arab supreme committee, headed by Egypt, to help Palestinians implement their reconciliation," the deputy of Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Bin Helli said, adding that the committee was suggested in the inter palestinian agreement. Bin Helli added that the meeting will discuss also the Arab financial support to Palestinians either in Gaza Strip, in West Bank or in Jerusalem. The last meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers Council mandated the permanent representatives at the AL to follow up implementation of a previous Arab summit decision to allocate $666 million in support of the Palestinian authority.
