CAIRO - Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal held talks in Cairo Wednesday with Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, the head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, on bolstering bilateral trade and investment. Al-Faisal, who was accompanied with Saudi Minister of Finance Ibrahim al-Assaf, was on a few-hour visit to Cairo as he also discussed with Tantawi the latest developments in the region, the official Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported. However, analysts think the visit was related somehow to the prosecution of toppled president Hosni Mubarak especially after Egypt's Foreign Minister Nabil el-Arabi confirmed that the Saudis were not happy about Mubarak's prosecution. "The (Saudi) King did express that he is loyal to his friends," el-Arabi told The Washington Post in an interview this week.
