CAIRO - Egypt's military rulers on Tuesday announced a cabinet reshuffle. The country's military council, which has governed Egypt since Mubarak resigned on Feb. 11, appointed 11 new ministers, state media reported. Ministries of information, economic development and administrative development were all removed as ministries of higher education and education were merged in one ministry in the new Cabinet. The same merger was adopted for the ministries of planning and international co-operation. The ministry of family and population was merged into that of health. A new ministry for scientific research, being separated from the ministry of higher education, was created. The ministry of social solidarity has become solidarity and social injustice.
