Hassan out of Young Africans clash
Published in Daily News Egypt on 31 - 03 - 2009

CAIRO: Ahly midfielder Ahmed Hassan is set to miss his team s game against Young Africans in the CAF Champions League on April 5 due to injury.
The former Anderlecht man sustained an ankle injury during Egypt s 1-1 draw with Zambia in the World Cup qualifiers on Sunday.
I had to complete the rest of Egypt s game injured after we made three substitutions, Hassan told FilGoal.com.
Ahly chief medic Ihab Ali told me that I will be out for about two weeks.
The 34-year-old said that despite failing to beat Zambia, the Pharaohs still have a chance of reaching the World Cup.
We lost two points at home but we can also win some crucial points away.
The gap between most African teams decreased, and home games are not a great advantage as they used to be, said Hassan.
