Ittihad Alexandria close on Ahli striker
Published in Daily News Egypt on 13 - 01 - 2008

CAIRO: Ittihad agreed terms with Ahli to sign either Reda Al-Weeshi or Abdel-Hamid Hassan on loan till the end of the season, the Alexandria side said.
Ittihad are desperate to land an established striker in January to help them fight relegation.
They failed to sign Nigerian forward Endurance Idahor from Sudanese side Merreikh or Zamalek striker Mostafa Gaafar.
Club stand-in president Mohamed Mosselhi told FilGoal.com that Ittihad will swap volleyball player Mohamed Mostafa for one of the Ahli duo.
Ahli will also get LE 200,000 in cash, and club manager Manuel Jose will determine who joins Ittihad until the end of the season.
Ittihad are second from bottom in the Egyptian League table, just one point ahead of Suez.
