Egypt's electronic bill payment and presentment (EBPP) network Fawry has partnered with TE Data allowing customers to pay their monthly bills through its nationwide network, the firm said in a statement. Egyptian internet service provider TE Data has the nation's “biggest infrastructure and 70 percent of Egypt's capacity,” the statement read. Under the agreement, TE Data customers will be able to pay their bills through Fawry's network either in cash at post offices or at 2,500 bill payment and mobile top-up points that are available at medium and large grocery stores or pharmacies, shopping centers and supermarkets in Cairo, Alexandria and Delta region. Customers who have bank accounts can also pay their bills via ATMs, as major banks in Egypt offer Fawry service through its network of outlets. Customers can also pay by debit cards via ATMs of National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Banque Du Caire, Bank of Alexandria and Arab African International Bank. The National Bank of Egypt also allows customers to use their credit cards on its ATMs to pay bills through the Fawry network.
