CAIRO: Ahly are set welcome back talismanic playmaker Mohamed Abou-Trika in this weekend s league game against Police Union. The 30-year-old suffered an ankle injury in last month s 2-2 draw at Petrojet, following an imprudent tackle by Hassan Konde. Abou-Trika was expected to serve a longer period on the sidelines, but Ahly s official site stated that he has completed his recovery and is fit for Friday s game. Midfielder Mohamed Barakat and goalkeeper Amir Abdel-Hamid have been also declared fit for the match, which means that the Red Devils are at full strength. Meanwhile, Ahly s CAF Champions League last 32 first-leg encounter with Tanzania s Young Africans will be played on March 15 in Cairo. The return leg should be played two weeks later in Dar Es-Salaam. Young Africans overwhelmed minnows Etoile d Or Mirontsy 14-1 on aggregate in the preliminary round, to qualify for the last 16.
