RAMALLAH: Israeli military forces raided and ransacked three civil society organizations around 3:00 in the morning on Tuesday, Addameer and Palestinian media outlets reported Soldiers entered the offices of the prisoner rights organization Addameer, a women's committee in the Qaddura refugee camp, and the Agricultural Work Committees. According to a Facebook update posted on Addameer's page, four laptops, one hard drive, and a video camera were stolen by the soldiers. The raid marks the first on Addameer's offices since 2002 during the Second Palestinian Intifada. An Addameer employee told BikyaMasr.com that soldiers stole 3,000 New Israeli Shekels (around 789.00 USD) from the Qaddura refugee camp women's committee. “The offices of the Union of Palestinian Women's Committee and the Palestinian NGO Network were also raided and ransacked last night," an Addameer press release stated. “Addameer condemns this attack on human rights and civil society organizations, and sees it as an attempt to cripple solidarity with the prisoners' movement." In Qaddura refugee camp, soldiers clashed with local youth, Ma'an News Agency reported on Tuesday. A video is available below.
