The top 10 Egyptian leasing firms in Q1 by market share

The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) reveals in a recent report the biggest leasing companies in the country on terms of market share at the end of first quarter.
Al Tawfeek Leasing Co. has ranked first registering a market share of 13.38 percent, with volume of finances reached 880.29 million Egyptian pounds ($48.7 million) at the end of first quarter of 2017.
Corporate Leasing Company – CORPLEASE has come in second position, with a 11.51 percent market share and volume of finances amounting to 756.66 million pounds, the report showed.
GB Lease, part of Ghabbour Auto Company, was in the third place having a 11.41 percent market share. EFG Hermes Leasing, a wholly-owned unit of EFG Hermes Holding Group, has ranked fourth with a 10.09 percent market share at the end of March 2017.
Al Ahly Leasing Company (ALC), the leasing arm of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), has come in the fifth position recording a 9.71 percent market share and volume of finances worth 638 million pounds.
Reaching the sixth position, Technolease for Financial Leasing has secured an 8.51 percent market share and volume of finances worth 559.80 million pounds at the end of March 2017. International Co. for Leasing (Incolease) has ranked seventh with an 8.07 percent market share.
Nile Financial Leasing Company, part of Al Ahly for Development and Investment (ADI), has captured the eighth position with a market share of 6.19 percent and volume of finances worth 407 million pounds at March-end.
Global Leasing Company, co-founded by Wadi Degla Holding and SANAD Fund, has come in the ninth position, with a 3.79 percent and volume of finances amounting to 249.4 million pounds. QNB AlAhli Leasing Company, part of QNB AlAhli Bank, came in the tenth position, with a 3.08 percent market share and finances worth 202 million pounds during the first quarter, according to the EFSA report.
