EGX Booming again: Midday

EGX has managed to turn its morning losses into gains of L.E 1.2 billion during Tuesday's mid-day trading, L.E2.3 million as the capital market reached L.E 369.326 billion.
The main index, EGX 30 surged 0.18% to reach 5042.21 p. EGX20 increased 0.08% to reach 5875 p.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 raised 0.25% to reach 475.72 p. Price index EGX100 hiked 0.38% to close at 815.16 p.
The market has recorded values of L.E 235.422 million; while the volume traded reached 75.257 million securities executed over 13.222 thousand transactions.
This was after trading in 149 listed securities; 64 down and 66 up while 19 keeping their previous levels.
Non- Arab foreign investors were net sellers after controlling 19.88% of the total market, with a net equity of L.E 33.8 million, after excluding deals.
Egyptians were net buyers seizing 68.15% of the total market, with a net equity of L.E 26.4 million, after excluding deals. Arabs were also net buyers as the net purchases reached L.E 7.4 million.
