EGX 30 Opens Week 0.12% Up On Local, Foreign Buyers

During Sunday opening session, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has posted early gains of EGP 204 million as the capital market has amounted to EGP 386.941 million, according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad at 11:02 a.m. Cairo time (09:02 GMT).
The EGX indices opened in green.
The main index, EGX30 inched higher by 0.12% to 5618.33 p. EGX20 rose by 0.10% to 6464.83 p.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 edged up 0.12% to 514.59 pts. Price index EGX100 hiked by 0.03% to 851.75 p.
Traded volume reached 7.786 million securities worth EGP 17.234 million, exchanged 941 transactions.
This was after trading in 77 listed securities; 13 declined 31 advanced 33 27 keeping their previous levels.
EGX's early gains were back by local and non-Arab Foreigners investors' buying deals.
Egyptians and non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers 75.89% and 19.55% respectively, of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 473.594 thousand and EGP 37.048 thousand excluding the deals.
On the other hand, Arabs were net sellers seizing 4.56% of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 436.547 thousand excluding the deals.
Leading Shares:
EGX's leading shares witnessed unsteady performance.
Orascom Telecom Holding:
Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH) (ORTE.CA) went up by 0.56% to EGP 3.60.
Citadel Capital:
Citadel Capital (CCAP.CA)'s stock fell by 0.78% to EGP 3.82.
EFG-Hermes:
EFG-Hermes Holding (HRHO.CA) dropped by 0.36% to EGP 11.13.
Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding:
Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding (OTMT.CA)'s stock maintained with no change at EGP 0.58.
Orascom Construction Industries:
Orascom Construction Industries – OCI (OCIC.CA)'s stock maintained with no change at EGP 256.74.
