Saad Al-Hussaini, a member of the Office of the guidance of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) said the group decided to respond to the arrest of some leaders to demonstrate and protest peacefully and without rashness. He denied to Al-Masry Al-Youm the intention of the MB to introduce a party platform of the parties Committee as a means of escalation in anticipation of the possibility of the transfer of those arrested to the Military Court. He added that the MB's progress of their party program to the parties Committee is linked to the group assessment of the political situation that would allow them adequate progress. For his part, Dr. Mohamed Gamal Heshmat, a member of the Shura Council of the Community, warned the regime of referring the MB to a military tribunal, saying: "This is a threat to national security and might lead to chaos and congestion known only to God." He added: "the system must know that its arrogance and persecution of the MB increases tension." Dr. Hamdi Al-Sayyed, physicians' deputy, warned that Egypt is under threat of loosing the seats of the Secretary-General and the Director of the Relief Committee of the Union of Arab doctors, following the arrest of Abdel-Moneim Abulfotouh, Jamal Abdul Salam, the two incumbents in the Union.
