Minister of international cooperation, Sahar Nasr is expected to sign 12 cooperation agreements with France in various sectors, during French President, Francois Hollande's visit to Egypt, Al Bawaba News reported Sunday. Among the agreements which are expected to be signed, an agreement with the French development agency to facilitate financing the establishment of regional electricity station at the Delta region, which is worth 50 million euros. Nasr is also expected to sign an agreement on a grant for the delivery of natural gas to homes valued at 68 million euros, financed by the European Union and managed by the French development agency. She is most likely to sign a number of agreements in the fields of water and sanitation projects in Al Sharqia and Alexandria governorates, as well as wind plant project in the Gulf of Suez with a capacity of 200 megawatts. Additionally, the minister will probably sign an initial agreement to establish a solar power plant in south Sinai, with a capacity of 40 megawatts. Egypt and France are also expected to put an action plan in the framework of economic cooperation between both countries during 2016-2017 in the industrial, scientific and technical fields.
