Egyptian Planning Minister, Ashraf Al-Araby said the government is keen to reach a economic growth rated 5% to 5.5% during the current fiscal year (FY) 2015/2016, Al-Bawaba News reported Saturday. During the cabinet's weekly meeting, Al-Araby revealed that the growth rate recorded 4.5% during the second quarter of FY 2015/2016, compared to 3.8% during the same period of FY 2014/2015. He attributed the recent growth to the reform measures adopted by the government as well as stimulating economy by pumping more investments in infrastructure projects.
