Published in Albawaba on 25 - 11 - 2015

Pakistan Prime Minister Muhamma Nawaz Sharif in a massage on "the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People" reiterated that Pakistan will continue to support Palestine's oppressed people.
In his massage, Pakistan prime minister says, 'As the people of Pakistan observe another day of solidarity with their Palestinian brothers, they also express deep disappointment with the international community for having failed the just cause of Palestine for yet another year.
"Palestinian people continue to suffer humiliating and absolutely inhuman treatment at the hands of the occupying power."
"Let me reassure our Palestinian brothers, yet again, that the Pakistani nation will continue to support them unwaveringly in their struggle for the right to self-determination.This is an inalienable right of the Palestinian people that cannot be denied any longer."
In related news, Pakistan's permanenet representative to the UN 'Maleeha Lodhi' has said that a just, sustainable and equitable resolution of the Middle East conflict is only possible through establishment of an independent Palestine state.
Speaking in a debate on Palestine in the UN General Assembly, Pakistan's top diplomant at the UN said that the Palestinian state should be based on pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
She urged the UN Security Council to play its due role in early resolution of the Middle East conflict.
Maleeha Lodhi expressed her support for the Palestinian demand for international protection.
She insisted that pressure be mounted on the Zionist regime to immediately lift the blockade of Gaza.
She also called for release of all Palestinian detainees, end to demolition of Palestinian houses and illegal settlement construction.
