The State Council's Fatwa and Legislation department will meet Monday to review three major issues concerning the upcoming parliamentary elections, Al Bawaba newspaper reported. A judicial source, who asked to remain anonymous, told the newspaper that the first issue to be tackled will be the security situation of 13 electoral districts, which witnessed a few incidents, according to the data sent earlier by the Elections laws drafting committee. The department will also be reviewing the unified law suggested by the political parties, for any possible constitutional flaw. The final issue being to set a final deadline for reviewing the laws, the source said. The source added that the Elections laws drafting committee had sent a report of the number of electoral districts' residents to the department and will send Sunday the number of voters per district.
