After ousted President Mohamed Morsi was sentenced to a 20-year prison term in the Ittahadeya case, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group started targeting neutral gas pipelines and electricity towers in the Beheira governorate, Al Bawaba News reported. Secretary of the Justice Party in Beheira, Ahmed Kemeha said that the MB would intensify its terrorist attacks after Morsi's guilty verdict and former MB Supreme guide Mohamed Badie's death sentence. The aim being to exert pressure on the judiciary to annul the verdicts. Kemeha called on security forces to confront the MB terrorist attacks and arrest the perpetrators as well as protect important facilities. Islamic affairs researcher, Alaa Al Shafei said that the MB was lacking direction after its leaders' arrests, pointing out that acts of sabotage were only a temporary strategy for the MB in Egypt. Deputy Director of Beheira Security, Maj. Gen.
