Egypt's President, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi invited the Yemeni President, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi Tuesday to participate in the Arab League summit, scheduled to be held in Cairo by the end of March. Hadi received the invitation through Egypt's ambassador to Sana'a Dr. Yusuf Ahmed Sharkawy during his visit to Aden, according to Reuters. For his part, Hadi praised Egypt's support to Yemen and the constitutional legitimacy, confirming that Yemen‘s security and stability is essential for Egypt's national security. The summit will be Hadi's first overseas activity since he fled Sana'a after one month of house arrest. Houthi rebels have seized the capital Sana'a alongside other major cities in central Yemen, September 2014 in what they called "a revolution against corruption."
