* As always, the summer brings with it the breezy joy of holiday and celebration. Weddings always top the list of the most high-spirited of such occasions. Last month's highlight matrimonial festivity brought to the Weekly team great merriment. Our dear colleague Reham El-Adawi was the belle of the ball on 4 July at Cataract Pyramids Resort, Saqqara Road, when she tied the knot. Reham 's lucky groom is the gifted short story writer and journalist at Al-Ahram Al-Arabi magazine Mohamed Baraka. The news, in fact, brought much joy to the entire Ahram organisation -- the bride's mother Nagwa El-Ashri is one of Al-Ahram 's very own art critics. Her father is the talented artist Mohamed El-Adawi. The lovely couple enjoyed the party amid a jungle of flowers and a galaxy of close relatives and friends, who came especially from the United States, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Damietta and Port-Said to share with the couple the delight of the night and good news. Among the glamorous guests were Al-Ahram Al-Arabi Editor-in-chief Osama Saraya, art critic and head of Al-Ahram plastic art's page Makram Henein, political analyst and director of Al-Ahram July Revolution Studies Centre Mohamed El-Said Idris, who is in fact the uncle of the gorgeous bride, and glass sculptor Aida Abdel- Kerim. From Al-Ahram Weekly Amani Abdel-Moneim, Amira El-Noshokati, Nader Habib, Magda Fayez, the talented caricaturist Tamer Youssef as well as Waleed Sayed from Al- Ahram 's advertising department. The lovely couple, Reham and Mohamed, spent two days at the hotel, after which they proceeded to rediscover the beauty of their own country, spending the honeymoon between Sharm El-Sheikh and the North Coast. From the entire Weekly team, and indeed the whole Ahram family, we wish the duo the warmest of good wishes.
