Death toll rises to two following clashes in Tanta city, Nile Delta, between Islamist protesters and angry opponents

The death toll resulting from clashes in Egypt's Nile Delta city of Tanta on Friday, between supporters and opponents of deposed president Mohamed Morsi, has risen to two as another died on Saturday from severe injuries, reported the Middle East News Agency (MENA).
The first casualty was reported on Friday.
General Hatem Othman, security director of Gharbiya governorate, where Tanta is located, said that the identity of one of those killed is still unknown. The other has been confirmed as Mohamed Abdullah , who is believed to have been a Morsi loyalist.
At least 25 were injured when violence broke out in the city as pro-Morsi demonstrators took to the streets against what they describe as a 'coup' against Egypt's first democratically-elected president.
The National Alliance to Support Legitimacy, an Islamist coalition led by the Muslim Brotherhood against the ouster of Morsi, announced it would stage demonstrations dubbed the 'Friday of Martyrs' nationwide to protest the deadly crackdown on the their sit-ins last week by security forces.
However, Friday protests yielded a low turnout with limited scuffles in the Nile Delta's Sharqiya and Daqahliya governorates.
