Egypt Olympic Committee is set to investigate and punish those responsible of what they called "wrestling scandal." Egypt's Abdou Omar and Saleh Emara were forced to forfeit the Men's 66kg & 96kg Freestyle 1/8 Finals respectively after mysteriously showing up in the afternoon for an early morning game. “We are investigating the matter and we will send the two wrestlers and their trainers and the representative of the Wrestling Association back to Egypt,” Chief of Egypt's delegation in the 2012 London Olympics, Ahmed El-Foly told the Middle East News Agency MENA on Sunday. El-Foly announced that “What happened is a disaster,” adding that the administrative employee is the most culbable person for this “mistake,” but confirming that all parties will be questioned when the team returns to Egypt. “The punishment will be bitter as I found out that the wrestling association members were engaged in personal disputes and didn't focus on their job,” El-Foly revealed.
