'Peace opportunities in the region' conference to be held in Cairo on Tuesday

Cairo is expected to host on Tuesday "Peace opportunities in the region" conference under the sponsorship of the Arab League and organised by SHAF Center for Crisis Analysis & Future Studies.
In statements, head of the center Mohamed El-Orabi said that the conference coincides with International Day of Peace, observed annually on 21 September, noting that a number of countries are witnessing conflicts, clashes, wars and crises that affect states and communities.
He added that all sides must resort to peace policy and negotiating table in order to solve crises through the peaceful means.
A number of Egyptian, Arab and African politicians, officials and public figures are expected to attend the conference.
