Cairo's art-house cinema will resume film screenings on Wednesday 2 August, with an Italian 2016 comedy drama Perfetti sconosciuti (Perfect Strangers). Directed by Paolo Genovese, Perfect Strangers talks about "seven long-time friends who decide to share with each other the content of every text message, email and phone call they receive. Many secrets start to unveil and the equilibrium trembles," IMDb synopsis reveals. The film won best screenplay award at the Cairo International Film Festival (2016) as well as numerous awards and recognitions in Italy and internationally, including: jury award at the Tribeca Film Festival (2016), audience awards at the Norwegian International Film Festival (2016) and the Vilnius International Film Festival (2017).
