The Egyptian stock exchange has closed the week in the red, the EGX30 benchmark plunging 2.24 per cent to 4,334 points in the last trading session of the week. Of the 178 listed stocks, around 20 gained and over 150 saw declines. Most sectors slid into the red, with the rest remaining unchanged. Market turnover was LE300.1 million, more than a fifth of which was in private equity firm Citadel Capital.
