Rwanda coach resigns after Ivory Coast collapse
After Saturday's 5-0 loss to Ivory Coast, Rwanda's Ghanaian coach Sellas Tetteh stated that he will step down for ‘personal reasons' and he may become a candidate for Ghana's job

Sellas Tetteh has stepped down from his post as Rwanda coach after Saturday's 5-0 defeat by Ivory Coast in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
"I have resigned as Amavubi head coach because of personal reasons," Tetteh stated.
"I thank the Rwanda Football Federation, the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture and all for their support during my tenure."
The heavy defeat left them bottom of Group H with three points from five matches and with no hope of qualifying for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
Ghana's celebrated former coach Ibrahim Sunday said the Ghana Football Association must quickly hire Sellas Tetteh, a Ghanaian, as the national team manager before he took another job outside the country.
"I think that if a coach fails in one team, that doesn't mean he is going to fail forever, so maybe his luck is here. We understand him better here and I believe we should give him a job,” the former Asante Kotoko and Africa Sports of the Ivory Coast coach was quoted as saying on JOY Sports.
Tetteh was Rwanda coach for 18 months from February 2010 after helping Ghana to win Africa's first Under 20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009. He helped the Amavubi to qualify for the Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) in Sudan early this year but they stumbled at the finals.
