Youth Coalition says military trials of civilians have to end and military police violence investigated before dialogue, Youth Union welcomes talks with military council Youth Coalition member Ziad El-Eleimy has announced the Coalition's insistence on maintaining their stand of boycotting dialogue with the military council until certain basic demands are met. The invitation issued by the Supreme Military Council of the Armed Forces' (SCAF) to all youth groups to participate in a meeting with SCAF representatives on Monday has not changed the coalition's stand, according to El-Eleimy. The Coalition had taken a decision to freeze dialogue with SCAF after military police violently ended a Tahrir sit-in on April 9. The coalition's conditions to restart dialogue with the ruling military council included that the military investigates the incident and bring an end to military trials of civilians. However, El-Eleimy added that once these demands are met the coalition is open for dialogue. Another youth body, the Youth Union, on the other hand, has decided to participate in the meeting called for by the military, which is to take place on Wednesday at El-Galaa theatre in Heliopolis.
