AMMAN: Egyptians abroad began their voting in the second phase of the parliamentary elections in Jordan on Thursday December 8 as the Egyptian Embassy in Jordan received the voting envelope by mail or by hand. The voting will last from December 8 to 12. The only Egyptians abroad who voted belong to the nine governorates in which the elections are carried out to vote. The Embassy prepared a room equipped with computers, Internet connection and printers to ease the voting process, said the Egyptian ambassador to Jordan Amr Abu el-Ata. By the end of the voting, the vote-counting committee will be held in the presence of Egyptian community representatives. The results of voting will be sent to the Egyptian Supreme Electoral Committee (SEC) through the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ambassador hailed the cooperation between the embassy and the Egyptian community in Jordan.
