Military police deployed outside Memareya School in Dar el-Salam were able to convince election monitors to stop their sit-in and negotiate with the head of the district or the Supreme Electoral Committee so voters could cast their ballots. Military prosecution erected barriers and shut the polling station for five minutes until they could control the situation outside. The military police assured the monitors they would be paid. Some monitors collected signatures to present to the public prosecutor proving their presence at polling stations since Monday morning.
