CAIRO: Former Egyptian Interior Minister Mansour el-Issawy has been dismissed from the government and five ministers will retain their posts in the new Cabinet, said new Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri today at a meeting with members of the Revolution Youth Coalition. The Egyptian premier of the government declined to mention the new ministers' names. El-Ganzouri also said that he will ask for an amendment to Article 10 of the Constitutional Declaration ensuring the new Egyptian president enjoy full executive authority. “No minister will be employed against his will,” el-Ganzouri said. He also called likely Egyptian presidential candidate Mohamed el-Baradei to accept the post of prime minister if the ruling military council authorizes it. El-Ganzouri also said that he would not go to Tahrir Square because he conducted phone calls with the different political parties represented in the Square. “I will try to reach an agreement for candidates for the new government,” he added. He also announced that he implemented an initiative to form an advisory council that includes prominent figures like Mohamed el-Baradei, presidential candidate Abdel Moneim Abul Fetouh, Hamdeen Sabbahi, Ahmed Zweail and other members of the January 25 Revolution youth.
