CAIRO: Supporters of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak organized a protest today in Mostafa Mahmoud Square. They chanted slogans supporting military rule and held banners refusing insults against Egypt's ruling military council. Mubarak supporters delayed holding their protest for two hours because they clashed with a march heading Tahrir Square, which called to stop military trials of civilians and hand rule to civilians. Samir Abdoul Aziz, an official of the Mostafa Mahmoud coalition, said they held the march in order to support the military council and oppose the ‘Friday of One Demand' demnstration in Tahrir Square.
