The Institute of Nuclear Power Stations will send a delegation of 30 of young scientists to an unnamed foreign country to train on its nuclear reactors and be acquainted with latest nuclear technology, according to source from the institute. The source added the training will cover reactor design and waste-management. Source mentioned that the scientists would also evaluate bids to build Egypt's first nuclear station at Dabaa, after receiving permission to build the reactor. The source said that even if the nuclear program was postponed until the completion of the presidential elections, they would continue training scientists. The cabinet decided work on the Egyptian nuclear program until the presidential elections are completed. The source added that the international consultancy Worly Parsons is cooperating with the institute according to an agreement between it and the ministry.
