Egypt's nuclear programs advisor, Ibrahim al-Essiry, said the Nuclear Stations Authority will continue to provide opportunities to train youth, despite the suspension of Egypt's nuclear program until upcoming presidential elections. Al-Essiry said the authority will provide 30 Egyptian youth with the opportunity to train in the United States in October to study modern nuclear technology. He said the training will include the design of nuclear reactors and strategies to deal with the waste. He stressed the suspension of Egypt's nuclear program until conducting the next presidential elections will not affect the training opportunities provided to the youth. He said the international consultation office, Worley Parsons, cooperates with the authority according to an agreement signed between their office and Egypt's Ministry of Electricity. It is important to mention the Cabinet decided to suspend Egypt's nuclear project until the election of the next president and legislative institutions to take the final decision over al-Dabaa project.
