CAIRO: The Egyptian government decided to use some of the funds budgeted for Egypt's presidency to cover the deficit of some ministries and authorities and to provide the employees' wages before ending the financial account of 2011/2012. For the first time in decades, the presidential budget will be transferred to cover the financial crises of other ministries and authorities. The Ministry of Finance decided to transfer 1.5 million EGP (U.S. $252,000), allocated to incentive bonuses for the presidency employees, and 438,000 EGP (U.S. $73,000). The money is allocated to the unordinary efforts of the employees of the presidency and to the Ministry of Higher Education to pay the employees' wages of June. Youm7 knew the budget of the Ministry of Higher Education will not be able to cover salaries of the employees in the Scientific Research Academy. The chairman of the academy met with Egyptian Minister of Finance to resolve the problem. Youm7 obtained a copy of the Ministry of Finance's decision to provide the scientific research's budget to 3.5 million EGP (U.S. $588,000) for the wages and bonuses of employees using the former budget of the presidency.
