Youm 7 is the first to publish pictures of the Israeli spy, Ilan Chaim Grapel, who was arrested yesterday. He was interrogated by Egypt's public prosecutor who ordered his detention for 15 days pending trial. Judge Adel al-Saeed, Assistant Attorney General, announced yesterday the arrest of an Israeli spy in a hotel in central Cairo. The spokesman of the Attorney General said in a statement that the prosecution had received information from intelligence about his activities. Al-Saeed said the Israeli spy was keen to be present in the places of demonstrations and incited the demonstrators to riot against public order to drive a wedge between the army and the people and wreak havoc among all citizens and negatively impact Egypt's January 25 Revolution. Intelligence also confirmed that the spy was part of the Israeli Defense Forces and participated in the Lebanon War in 2006, in which he was injured.
