Ismaili striker Ahmed Ali will not be joining Ahli this summer after having his financial problems resolved with the Dervishes, chairman Raafat Abdul-Azim has confirmed. The Egypt international's future at Ismaili was under scrutiny amid the coastal outfit's failure to pay off his overdue wages, a setback that saw him miss several training sessions of late. Eventually, Ismaili were able to settle their financial problems with Ali, who still has two years remaining in his contract. Crisis over “The crisis is completely over now, the player reported to the club and received his late dues," Ismaili chief Abdul-Azim told FilGoal.com. “He will remain at the club for at least another season as we hope he would be of benefit to the team." Ali, who has been complaining of not being paid for months, was loaned out to Saudi giants Hilal last year and has been impressive during his six-month spell in Riyadh.
