Zamalek to have Olympic duo back
Published in FilGoal on 18 - 07 - 2012

Egypt Olympic duo Omar Gaber and Ahmed Al-Shennawi will be available for Zamalek's Champions League clash with Ahli, the Whites said on their website.
Zamalek initially declared that the duo will be back this week to take part in next Sunday's derby clash, only for Egypt coach Hany Ramzy to refuse their release.
Ramzy wanted the Zamalek full-back and goalkeeper to feature in his team's final warm-up game ahead of the Olympics against Honduras on Thursday.
However, Zamalek revealed that an agreement has been reached to send their two players home after the Honduras game.
The controversial story saw Zamalek coach Hassan Shehata - often known for his less-provocative approach - strongly criticize Ramzy for insisting to keep Gaber and Al-Shennawi.
Despite Zamalek's firm stance, goalkeeper Al-Shennawi is poised to sit on the bench for number one Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed, while Gaber has lost his place to Hazem Emam in the previous game.
