Zamalek rule out Shawky link
Published in FilGoal on 13 - 07 - 2012

Zamalek will not be making a move for Ahli's transfer-listed midfielder Mohamed Shawky, board member Hazem Emam said.
Egypt international Shawky was transfer-listed by request this week after learning that his first-team chances under manager Hossam Al-Badri are limited.
With speculation linking the 31-year-old with a move to the other side of Cairo, Zamalek were quick to deny the allegations.
Former star Emam revealed that approaching Shawky would be difficult as the financially-struggling Zamalek have already concluded their summer transfers.
If he signed, Zamalek will also be deprived of Shawky's services in the Champions League as he has already been named in Ahli's squad.
Zamalek signed free agent Abdoulaye Cisse and goalkeeper Ahmed Al-Shennawi on loan from Masri this summer.
