Gomaa to be fit for Zamalek clash

Ahli defense stalwart Wael Gomaa is set to miss the Champions League clash with Mazembe but should be fit for the second group game against Zamalek.
The Egypt veteran has been out of action for several months with a recurring calf injury that saw him spend two weeks in Portugal for rehab.
“It will be difficult to play against Mazembe. But I will have a lot of time before the second game (with Zamalek)," Gomaa told Ahli's satellite channel.
Ahli will entertain Cairo rivals Zamalek on July 21 both teams take on Mazembe and Berekum Chelsea in the opening group game.
