Amr Zaki and Ahmed Eid head a list of 22 players in Egypt squad for this month's Arab Nations Cup in Saudi Arabia.
The Egypt squad are set to fly to Jeddah to take part in the regional tournament ahead of next month's Olympic Games in London.
Egypt will open their Arab Cup campaign against Sudan on June 24 before meeting Iraq and Lebanon in Group C.
Zamalek striker Zaki and Harras Hodoud winger Eid are the only two senior players in Hany Ramzy's squad as both are tipped to join the team in the London games.
Essam Al-Hadari, Ahmed Fathi, Mohamed Abdul-Shafi, Hosni Abd-Rabou, Mohamed Abou-Treika, Emad Meteb, Ahmed Abdul-Zaher and Mohamed Zidan are the other candidates in Ramzy's shortlist.
The young Pharaohs will face Brazil, New Zealand and Belarus at the Olympics, starting with a crunch game against the Selecao on July 26.
