Egypt manager Bob Bradley has selected 30 players for the team's training camp this month, excluding Ahli players and calling up a number of new faces.
Bradley's men are expected to play a couple of friendly games against Kenya and Botswana in February after the CAN 2013 qualifier in Central African Republic was postponed.
The squad did not include any player from Ahli, ‘in respect to their psychological condition' after what happened to the team in Port-Said earlier this month.
Zamalek players will join their team-mates after the Champions League game at Tanzanian side Young Africans on 18 February.
Bradley called up several uncapped players including the likes of Fouad Salama (MCDR), Ahmed Temsah (Dakhlia) and Salah Ashour (Police Union).
