Ahli midfielder Mohamed Barakat has been named in his side's squad for their forthcoming Egyptian Premier League game against ENPPI on Monday at Military Academy stadium. The international ace has finally recuperated from a hamstring injury, which he sustained in the Red Devils' 2-1 victory over Telecom Egypt on April 9th. Barakat missed Ghazl Mahalla league trip, Kano Pillars clash in the CAF Champions League and the Cairo Derby against Zamalek, but he's now ready to get back in action. Versatile midfielder Ahmed Fathi was also declared fit to feature against Petroleum side ENPPI, after he shrugged off a minor knee problem picked up in the goalless draw with Zamalek. Egypt skipper Ahmed Hassan will also be available after overcoming a negligible thigh injury sustained in Thursday's game. On the other hand, Flavio Amado pulled out of the squad due to suspension, after collecting his third booking in the same match. For this reason, head coach Manuel will most probably pick hitman Hani Al-Egeizi, who's yet to establish himself as an Ahli regular, in the starting eleven. Shadi Mohamed, who took no part in the White Knights encounter due to a muscle injury, has been ruled out of the next match with the same problem.
Fathi Substitute custodian Amir Abdul-Hamid was once again omitted from the 18-man list, as Ahmed Adel Abdul-Monem was included as a stand-in keeper. Ahli will be looking for wins in their remaining four league matches in order to retain the title for the fifth year running. The Cairo giants lie second with 53 points, trailing first-placed Ismaili by a mere point. The Dervishes, however, have only three games to see the season through. Ahli's squad: Goalkeepers: Ahmed Adel Abdul-Monem, Ramzi Saleh. Defenders: Wael Gomaa, Ahmed Al-Sayed, Mohamed Samir, Ahmed Sedik, Ahmed Ali. Midfielders: Gilberto, Sayed Mowad, Ahmed Hassan, Hussein Ali, Mohamed Abou-Treika, Mohamed Barakat, Ahmed Fathi, Hossam Ashour, Moataz Eno. Strikers: Hani Al-Egeizi, Osama Hosni.
