Ismaili maintained their position on top of the Egyptian League table after beating Al-Gaish 3-1 at home on Friday. Mohamed Soliman "Hommos" opened the score in the first-half stoppage time and Abdullah Al-Saied doubled the lead in the 48th minute. Hassan Mousa pulled one back for Al-Gaish in the 53rd minute before Sayed Moaawad ensured the victory for Ismaili in the 70th minute. Ismaili lead the Egyptian League table with 13 points while Al-Gaish lie eighth on seven points. Elsewhere, Ittihad Alexandria continued their impressive start in the league campaign after they came from behind to snatch a 2-1 victory over Tersana. Khaled Al-Adawi grabbed the lead for Tersana three minutes before the interval but Rami Saied leveled the score in the 56th minute. Substitute Mohamed Farouk sealed the victory for Ittihad in the 66th minute. In other match, Ghazl Mahalla thrashed Asyut Petroleum 3-0 to continue their 100% record in away matches.
