Egypt manager Shawki Gharib has named a 27-man squad for friendly games against Chile and Jamaica, excluding players of Ahli and Zamalek. Egypt prepare to take on World Cup finalists Chile in Santiago on May 30, four days before meeting Jamaica in London. Set for his second game in charge, Pharaohs coach Gharib said he will announce the full squad after next week's continental games of Ahli and Zamalek. Gharib's list included seven foreign-based players, led by Chelsea star Mohamed Salah and Lierse veteran Hossam Ghaly. Portugal's Nacional pair Saleh Gomaa and Ali Ghazal were recalled while Rio Ave striker Ahmed Hassan 'Kouka' made the cut. A number of new faces earned their first call-up while 41-year-old goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari kept his place.
