CAIRO - EgyptAir Chairman and CEO Captain Ayman Nasr Friday hailed the cooperation exhibited from the Ministry of transport in Kenya following the incident that happened at Nairobi airport two days ago. “The Accident Investigation Bureau in Kenya showed great cooperation and exceptional professionalism during the investigation process, “ said Nasr. “EgyptAir does appreciate the quick response from the Kenyan authorities and the mutual cooperation between the Kenyan Ministry of Transport and the Egyptian Ministry of Aviation according to Captain Shaker Kelada, Chief of Egyptian Accident Investigation Bureau, who headed the Egyptian delegation to Nairobi," Captain Nasr. An EgyptAir Airbus A320 Flight Number MS849 slightly veered off the run way after landing at Nairobi Airport on Tuesday due to technical problem in the steering system of the aircraft. All passengers and crew disembarked the aircraft normally by the stairs and nobody was injured.
