MOSCOW, July 27, 2018 (MENA) - President Vladimir Putin discussed on Friday with BRICS leaders the issues of upgrading the organization as well as partnership priorities. Attending the meeting were Brazilian President Michel Temer, China's Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa, Russian news agency Sputnik reported. Five emerging economies known as the BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, are holding the group's summit in Johannesburg, South Africa. A host of African leaderships are taking part in the summit that is tackling global economic and political issues.
