CAIRO, July 21, 2018 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi witnessed on Saturday the graduation ceremony of a new batch of police cadets at the Police Academy in New Cairo. Addressing the graduation ceremony of a new batch of police cadets, Police Academy chief Major General Ahmed Ibrahim welcomed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, affirming that the police officers are determined to assume their duties, exert dedicated efforts and make great sacrifices. The Police Academy chief expressed appreciation to Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq for sponsoring the academy, saying that upon assuming the post, Tawfiq issued directives on developing the security action system, including training and research domains at the academy to go in line with the current developments and updates. The Police Academy chief pointed out that 1,281 academy students are being graduated today, Ibrahim said, highlighting that the academy has obtained academic accreditation from he National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Education. Ibrahim thanked all scientific, research and training State bodies for providing all needed assistance to the academy, topped by the Armed Forces, military institutions, judicial bodies and Foreign Ministry for their dedicated efforts.
