CAIRO, March 6, 2018 - The Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker on Tuesday discussed with a World Bank delegation over ongoing and future energy projects in the country. During the talks, Minister Shaker lauded the distinguished co- operation between Egypt's electricity sector and the World Bank, which is funding a number of projects across the country. The Bank's participation in financing these projects highlights its confidence in the sector's success in managing these ventures, Shaker said. He added that Egypt is keen on carrying out ambitious plan to implement more projects and enhance the performance of the national power grid.
