The Ark Development launches its first phase of the Ark's Business District in New Cairo
Published in Daily News Egypt on 24 - 12 - 2022

The Ark Development recently launched its new business district within the Ark's first phase on New Cairo's South 90th Street. The Business District offers various commercial and administrative units, including loft offices, triplets, duplexes, penthouses, bridge offices, and other administrative offices to accommodate all customer needs.
The Ark Business District is designed as per the latest international standards in collaboration with established entities, including Savills — one of the world's leading property advisors — HKS, EDSA, and Innovation to provide design solutions and implement the project's master plan.
Furthermore, the Ark has partnered with ECG to offer consultancy services, as well as Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), which is in charge of the Ark's construction.
Additionally, the company is keen on implementing an ambitious strategy in the Egyptian real estate market. In light of this, it intends to develop a distinctive business model inspired by successful global success stories, as well as offering unique office products to the market. Moreover, the Ark Development adheres to the principle of facilitating and offering a variety of payment methods to satisfy the diverse needs of customers.
Osama Abu Alam — CEO of the Ark Development — said: "We at The Ark Development focus on developing and establishing a mixed-use and high-end community at a prime location. Thus, we aim to offer various unit options — including administrative and commercial — to create an environment that combines the quality of design, open spaces, and the availability of all services that meet customer needs. The entire concept is curated based on extensive research and studies, coupled with our team's expertise in the real estate market."
"We have also begun concrete casting for the Ark Business District construction, and we will begin delivering units in 2025."
He also emphasised that the Ark Development was keen to incorporate environmental sustainability and technological principles into its projects to conserve resources. The Ark Development's sustainability roadmap includes a green waste management system, charging stations for electric cars, bikes, and scooters, as well as the utilisation of recycled and reused materials. Additionally, the company will be employing technological approaches for prevention and monitoring within the scheme, such as CCTV with AI software and automated lighting control systems.
The Ark Development is located in New Cairo's Fifth Settlement at the intersection of South 90th Street and Mohamed Naguib Axis. The Ark New Cairo is the company's first project in Egypt, and it is built on 92 acres. It includes a residential neighbourhood, a cultural and entertainment hub, an urban park, and hotels.
It is worth noting that The Ark Development was founded last year by a coalition between four Egyptian business groups — Al-Organi Group, Al-Safi Group, Arabella Group, and Abdel-Maksoud Group — with diverse experience in construction, technology, pharmaceuticals, hotel management, automotives, retail, and real estate.
