Selection is complete for members of five Juries of 75th Venice International Film Festival

Tunisian director Kaouther Ben Hania will to join the lion of the future jury of the 75th Venice International Film Festival.
The festival has five juries. The first is Venezia 75. The personalities convened as members of the jury for the Venezia 75 competition are: the president of the jury, Mexican director, screenwriter and producer Guillermo del Toro; the actress, director, screenwriter and producer Sylvia Chang, born in Taiwan; the Danish actress Trine Dyrholm; the French actress and director Nicole Garcia; the Italian director and screenwriter Paolo Genovese; the Polish director, screenwriter and producer Malgorzata Szumowska; the New Zealand actor, director, producer and screenwriter Taika Waititi; the Austrian-German actor Christoph Waltz and the English actress Naomi Watts.
The jury for the Venezia 75 Competition will award the following official prizes: the Golden Lion for Best Film; the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize; the Silver Lion for Best Director; the Coppa Volpi for Best Actor; the Coppa Volpi for Best Actress; the Award for Best Screenplay; the Special Jury Prize and the "Marcello Mastroianni" Award for Best New Young Actor or Actress.
The second is the Orizzonti. The members of the international Jury of the Orizzonti section are: the Greek director, screenwriter and producer Athina Tsangari (President of the Jury); the American director, screenwriter and producer Michael Almereyda; the Iranian actress Fatemeh Motamed-Aria (Simin); the film critic Frédéric Bonnaud; the Egyptian screenwriter and producer Mohamed Hefzy; the Canadian director and screenwriter Alison McLean; the Italian director and screenwriter Andrea Pallaoro.
The jury will award the following prizes, with no ex aequo awards permitted: Orizzonti Award for Best Film; Orizzonti Award for Best Director; Special Orizzonti Jury Prize; Orizzonti Award for Best Actor; Orizzonti Award for Best Actress; Orizzonti Award for Best Screenplay; Orizzonti Award for Best Short Film.
As for the "Luigi De Laurentiis" Venice Award for a Debut Film – Lion of the Future, the members are the Iranian and American director and screenwriter Ramin Bahrani (President of the Jury); the Italian actress Carolina Crescentini; the Tunisian director and screenwriter Kaouther Ben Hania; the Japanese curator and artistic director Hayashi Kanako; the Argentinian director Gastòn Solnicki.
The jury will award, with no ex aequo awards permitted, the Lion of the Future – "Luigi De Laurentiis" Venice Award for a debut film to one of the debut feature-length films selected from the various competition sections of the Venice Film Festival (official selection and independent and parallel sidebars). It comes with a cash prize of $100,000 donated by Filmauro, to be divided equally between the director and the producer.
The fourth jury is the Venice Virtual Reality, where the Danish director and screenwriter Susanne Bier (President of the Jury); the Italian writer Alessandro Baricco; the French actress Clémence Poésy will take part in.
The Jury of Venice Virtual Reality will award, with no ex aequo awards permitted, the following prizes: Best VR Immersive Story, Best VR Experience for interactive content, VR Story for linear content.
The Jury of Venezia Classici is chaired by Italian director and screenwriter Salvatore Mereu and it is composed of 26 cinema history students—nominated by their professors—from Italian universities, DAMS performing arts courses, and Ca' Foscari University of Venice. The Jury of Venezia Classici will award the Venezia Classici Award for the Best Restored Film and the Best Documentary on Cinema.
